…like classical musicians…
The chamber ensemble Budvicense was founded in 2006, when Lenka, Markéta and Martin Týmls were studying at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Budvicense won in one of the categories at the competition for chamber ensembles held as part of the international master courses of the Sommerakademie Prag-Wien-Budapest. Since this significant achievement Budvicense regularly performs on concert stages in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2017, Budvicense completed a fourteen-day concert tour in China.
In addition to joint concerts within the chamber ensemble, individual members also perform solo. They have collaborated with a number of orchestras including the South Czech Philharmonic, the Pilsen Philharmonic, the Slovak State Philharmonic Košice, the Hradec Králové Philharmonic and the Prague Chamber Orchestra. As soloists and chamber players they have performed on Czech and foreign stages, for example in Leipzig, Dresden, Vienna, Baden, Reichenau, Kaunas, Zagreb or Passau.
…like musicians who play everything…
We don't just play classics. For your wedding day or other event, we will play anything from Louis Armstrong to Metallica…
…how many of us would you like to have?…
For your event, we can be two, three or even four in different instrument combinations (string instruments with piano or vocals)
